Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

The application

cachemekate (CACHE_IN / @cachemekate) is an education application operated by Human1st, LLC. It offers courses, membership, events, writing, consulting information, and related digital and physical products. These Terms govern that application.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or make a purchase. The application is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect Google user data from children.

Accounts

You may create an account with email, GitHub, or Sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method under your control. We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is being abused.

Google user data

If you Sign in with Google, the cachemekate application (CACHE_IN), operated by Human1st, LLC, accesses Google user data solely to create and operate your account. We request only basic account information needed for authentication.

What Google user data is accessed by the application

Our application will access the data you have provided to us through Google Sign-In, including your name, email address, and profile photo. We do not access Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or other Google Workspace content. We may collect, or process, the following categories of personal data when you use or interact with our products and services: your Google name, email address, and profile photo used to operate your course account.

How the application uses Google user data

We will use your data to provide you with the services you requested, such as signing you in, creating and maintaining your course account and membership, displaying your name and photo in the application, and sending transactional email such as receipts and account notices. Use of Google user data is limited to providing or improving user-facing features of cachemekate. We will not sell your data to third parties, but we may share it with our partners who help us provide our services, as listed below.

How the application stores Google user data

We store Google user data with our authentication and database provider as an account record (email, name, and photo URL) on our hosting infrastructure, for as long as your account is active.

How the application shares, transfers, or discloses Google user data

We do not transfer or disclose your information to third parties for purposes other than the ones provided here. We do not sell Google user data. We share Google user data only with processors that operate the application: authentication and database, hosting, payment processing (email and name when you purchase), and transactional email delivery. We do not share, transfer, or disclose Google user data to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers.

How the application protects Google user data

Security procedures are in place to protect the confidentiality of your data. We use encryption (HTTPS/TLS) to protect your information in transit. Account access is restricted to authenticated sessions. We never receive your Google password.

Retention and deletion of Google user data

We store your personal information for a period of time that is consistent with our business purposes. We will retain your personal information for the length of time needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When the data retention period expires for a given type of data, we will delete or destroy it. You may request for your data to be deleted by emailing hello@cachemekate.dev or using the contact form at https://www.cachemekate.dev/contact.

Limited use of Google user data

cachemekate (CACHE_IN)'s use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the application. cachemekate / Human1st, LLC does not use Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train non-personalized AI and/or ML models.

The application does not use Google user data, and does not transfer Google user data to third parties, for:

• Targeted advertising
• Selling to data brokers
• Providing to information resellers
• Determining credit-worthiness
• Lending purposes
• User advertisements
• Personalized advertisements
• Retargeted advertisements
• Interest-based advertisements
• Creating databases unrelated to providing the application
• Training non-personalized AI and/or ML models
• Training generalized machine-learning (ML) or artificial intelligence (AI) models

Changes to how we use Google user data

If we change how cachemekate uses Google user data, we will update this page, change the last-updated date, and notify users before the new use takes effect.

Other information we collect

We may collect, or process, the following categories of personal data when you use or interact with our products and services: contact-form name and email; waitlist name, email, and role; course account credentials; order and shipping details for purchases (payment cards are processed by our payment processor — we never store full card numbers). Site-usage cookies are described in the Cookie Policy. Cookie and advertising tools do not receive Google user data from Sign-In.

Purchases and membership

Prices, included access, and cancellation terms are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers. Digital course and membership access is generally not refundable once granted, except where required by law. Chargebacks on valid purchases may result in loss of access.

License and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access content you have purchased or that we make free, for your own education. You may not share logins, scrape, copy, or redistribute paid materials, attack or overload the service, send spam or unlawful content, or misrepresent your identity. Course materials and branding belong to Human1st, LLC / cachemekate / CACHE_IN / @cachemekate unless marked otherwise.

User content

You keep rights to content you submit (forms, comments, assignments). You grant Human1st, LLC a limited license to host that content so the service can function. Do not submit anything you do not have the right to share.

Disclaimers

Education and commentary on this site are for learning. They are not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice and do not guarantee outcomes. The application is provided as-is, without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, cachemekate, CACHE_IN, @cachemekate, and Human1st, LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the application. Total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars if you paid nothing.

Termination

You may stop using the application at any time. We may terminate access for violation of these Terms. Provisions that should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive termination.

Changes

We may update these Terms and this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date will change, and material changes will be posted on this page before they take effect. If we change how cachemekate uses Google user data, we will notify users before the new use takes effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the updated Terms and Privacy Policy.
